LANDRY FAMILY DENTISTRY
Dr. Joseph G. Landry II
Dr. Joseph G. Landry II completed his dental training at The Ohio State University in 2009, where he served as President of his class and earned the Outstanding Professional Student Award, recognized across all dental, medical, law, pharmacy, and veterinary students. In 2019, he achieved Mastership in the Academy of General Dentistry (MAGD), an honor earned by less than 2% of dentists. He currently serves as President-Elect of the Ohio Academy of General Dentistry and is a Fellow in both the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (FICOI) and the Pierre Fauchard Academy International Honor Dental Organization.
Before dental school, Dr. Landry studied at The University of Akron, The University of Hull in the United Kingdom, and La Sorbonne UniversitƩ in Paris, France, ultimately earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology with a Chemistry minor at The University of North Carolina at Wilmington. An avid outdoorsman, fly fisherman, and Eagle Scout, Dr. Landry hiked over 2,400 miles to complete the Appalachian Trail and Long Trail in 2003. Dr. Landry shares his passion for dentistry with his wife, Marcia, a dental hygienist. Together, they reside in Medina, OH, with their two children.
Crowning Achievements
With a passion for dentistry in private practice and academia, Dr. Landry has served since 2009 as Supervising Clinical Dentist, Local Anesthesia and Nitrous Oxide Instructor at Stark State College. He is a member of the American and Ohio Dental Associations, Academy of General Dentistry and currently Vice President of the Ohio Academy of General Dentistry, both Medina and Akron Dental Societies, International Congress of Oral Implantologists, and The Ohio State University Alumni Club of Summit County.
Family First
Dr. Landry understands the importance of family. His goal at Landry Family Dentistry is for every patient to feel like family, knowing that they are in a caring and safe environment. When you visit our office, we want you to feel that your dental care is our top priority, and that we genuinely care.
Dr. Landry and his wife, Marcia, share a love for dentistry, as she is a dental hygienist. In August 2014, Dr. Landry and Marcia welcomed a daughter, Natalie. They were again blessed with a son, Derek, in September 2018. He and his family reside in Medina, OH.
